The unimaginable 28

"Mommy, mommy" Rohit pulled his mom's hand and took her to the next room. She saw two women in chairs and a 60 year old man on bed. "Mommy dancer aunty!" The six year old boy's face is glowing wtih happiness.  Nandini came with fruits and coconut water.

Sundari and her mother Tulasi looked at the mother and the child for their introduction. We are in the next room. I am vanaja. He is my son Rohit. He has acute lymphoblastic Leukaemia. We are coming back from the doctor he saw you in the corridor and pulled me into this room.  We were watching your dance  on star plus. Rohit like your dance. said Vanaja.  "India's best dancer program." said Rohit. "I don't remember the names of the programs but he and his father do. They are fascinated by classical dance."

"Mommy say congrats, aunty is the winner." Insisted the boy.

"Congratulations!  I think your name is Sundari." said the mother "I am Sundari from Kakinada. She is my mother and she is my friend Nandini from Vaisakha. My father is a cancer patient. He is 60, taking  Chemotherapy. We came two days ago."

"My son is just six years. We are from Hyderabad. We are here for two months." Said Vanaja. Sundari and Nandini were shocked. "O God! what a pity!" said Sundari. The mother dissolved in tears. The boy's father came in. "He is the boy's father Srinivararao." said Vanaja.  "Do you remember her?  Vanaja asked her husband.

"Yes, I do, She is the India's dancing superstar from Kakinada.  Grand Finale Winner on Star Plus.  Bollywood star Karina Kapoor  her choreographer Bosco Martis and rapper Raftaar  judged the show." He said like a talking book. "I am sorry to hear that your son .." Sundari was saying  “Still I can not believe that  my son has a life threatening disease.." he started

"He got a rare cancer -Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. My 6-year-old son regularly undergoes painful cancer therapy sessions. Two months have passed since we  admitted in the hospital.  From dropping him off at school to feeding him his medication at the hospital- our life has changed completely. It’s unbearable to see him cry but I’m helpless- the therapy is the only thing keeping my son alive. I'm a private employee. The treatment costs 20 lakhs. How can I bear? I'm neither rich nor I won prize money like you." His voice blurred.

Tulasi : We are not rich. My husband is a farmer.  We took loans on the land we have. All the money is spent up. She got five lakhs prize money. That is also spent up.

"Madam , If you don't mistake me. I have a suggestion." Srinivararao told Sundari.

Sundari : what is that ?

Srinivasarao: why don't you participate in India's best dancer competition on Sony ? The prize money is 15 lakhs. You know Saumya Kamble a 16 year old girl from Pune took home the trophy,  a car and Rs 15 lakh cash prize.

The time is up for the enrollment. She has a dancer chance in a film.

Srinivasarao: That is great. Cinema is a better chance. Many back ground dancers from Bollywood and Tollywood entered as dancers but settled as heroines.

Tulasi: They are all wild goose chase for us. I told her but she doesn't listen.

Srinivasarao: Come on I say don't discourage her. L.Vijaya Lakshmi, Vaijayantimala, Shahid kapoor They are all background dancers. He looked at the watch and said " It is time for chemotherapy " All the cheerfulness in his face vanished.

"Rohit let us go to the doctor uncle." said Vanaja

Rohit  "when can we go home, amma?’ "Soon!" Lied the mother wiping her tears.

"Take this orange." Nandini gave the boy an orange.

They moved out. The boy was waving his hand to Sundari. Her eyes are filled with tears.

Navya Art Productions : Kashyap was watching the cinema news on Tv. The new production manager Shafi was his college mate was beside him. " Love is never cold" was a box office hit said the anchor. The camera was showing movie analysts and experts. "Director Kashyap has caught the pulse of the audience." said one expert. The movie is a great success and the collections are showing it." Kashyap was laughing. Shafi said congratulations! Kashyap said stop the crap. Shafi took the Tv remote near him from the table and switched off the TV. Shafi was a bit confused. " it is also a game?"

It is a popular game but inevitable game. Many movies are utter flap

Yes I know, last week ten movies are released. six movies are utter flop.

No, eight movies are flop.

Oh! thank God your movie is a success.

Ha haa haa ... we are paying for the succes publicity. Safi looked dazed.

Don't worry. In film field it is common. All that glitters is not gold. Kashyap laughed again.

Safi joined Kashyap. They were laughing together. Just then Naidu entered.

"Stop crying. enough of celebrating success! " said Naidu. They both stopped laughing.

Who is he? asked Naidu. " He is new production manager, He has multiple skills. The old manager did not have multiple skills." Said Kashyap.

"My balance remuneration?" asked Kashyap. "Love is never cold! " Do you know how much loss I had in this project? " said Naidu.  "A least loss, a few lakhs but you got Keerthi with you many nights" Said Kashyap. They saw Lakuma coming in. "Stop discussions. Talk to her and send her to me." said Naidu and moved into his chamber. Lakuma entered Kashyap's chamber. The boy brought coffee. Kashyap took the cup and had a sip. Just at the same time Kashyap got a call. He signalled Lakuma to sit. "A non bailable warrant was issued against you in the cheque bounce case." The voice in the phone said.  Kashyap spewed out the coffee. The coffee spilled on Lakuma who sat opposite to him.  Chee! Chee ! She went away. Kashyap felt like double slapped.

Naidu saw her  walking out and called her from his glass chamber. Lakuma walked in happily. Very glad to meet you sir. It was my long time dream to meet you when I was in studies. I asked my mother to recommend me to you. but my mother did not do it  because I was studying. Now my studies are over. "

Now would you like to act?  Sit down. Lakuma sat down. Raghava called him.

The cheque you have given me is bounced. Why do you give such cheques?

I am going for a start up company. I feel betrayed!

You are starting a new company? Congratulations! I am busy now. I will call back later.

Seshachalam came to Anandanilayam with a throbbing heart. He saw Damini and Malini talking to each other. Kesava was playing Mrudanga in his room.  "I have a very important thing to tell you about Vidisha's condition." He told Varsha . He said briefly what happened at the psychiatrist. Spirits and ghost are discussed in Science, showed in films, mentioned in Puranas and even in the Geetha. You need more than an opinion. Said Varsha.

A few minutes later they were sitting before Dr. Raju, Professor of paranormal science in his residence. The professor was enthusiastic about the case. Seshachalam explained right from the burning of the cow shed to Vidisha's night walks and his experience at psychiatrist.

Dr. Raju: " If it is pure hallucination how could she tell who took the car keys? How could she see the future - the road death in Sabbavaram?  It must be a ghost or a spirit.

Seshachalam: She also said that they were going to attack  Varsaha.

Varsha: My mother had a dream. She saw thieves starting to Anandanilayam. She said that they were coming from hills. Manju and I took it lightly and laughed.

Dr. Raju : That is a precognitive dream. In simple terms, any dream that gives you information about the future you wouldn't otherwise have, is called Precognitive dream. It is a psychic experience.

Seshachalam : psychic experience means?

Dr. Raju:  Extra sensory,  like Veera Brahmamam Kalagnanam, like sixth sense.

Seshachalam:  I'm worried that my daughter. What is her condition?

Dr. Raju : She is not insane. Don't worry. It must be a ghost or  a spirit.

Sesha: What is the difference between the ghost and the spirit?

Dr.Raju: Spirits are the surviving personalities of all of us who pass through the door of death in a normal fashion. Ghosts are different. They're the result of a sudden or tragic death. They don't accept the way in which they died. They often don’t realize they're dead. In most cases, they have unfinished business. They're tied to the location of their death.

When a person’s death is extremely violent and unexpected his o her unfinished business can take the form of dark energy what we call “residual energy”. Finished Professor Raju , the director of the paranormal sciences, Andhra University.  Bharatavarsha and Seshachalam came out of his Residence and got into the taxi. It was going towards Sabbavaram.

Don't leave Vidisha at home bring it to Anandanilayam.said Varsha

Seshachalam was shocked.  He had sweat on his forehead.  The car reached his house. He got down and walked in with trembling legs. His step slipped down at the entrance steps. when he saw the empty house His spine shivered.  His heart beat fast. His throat went dry. He knows where she would go. Bharatavarsha called tea stall Veerraju and Cloth store Kailasam  and asked them to stay with him. He started walking into the fields.

Mr. Becket was speaking to his neighbours  in Eton school. "The sub inspector was working hand in glove with the MLA." Said  one of his neighbours. "Naturally they are expected to do so." said Mr. Becket. You didn't get my point. He is a chemcha, a kiss ass who colluded with the MLA and played the drama pf boundary wall encroachment. The man who broke your wall is Bairreddy and his men. Mr. Becket looked surprised. He bent low and whispered something in Becket's ear. His face turned red and just then the phone was ringing.  Mr. Becket answered the call. It was Simhachalam. I'm coming to meet Michelle. He remembered what happened.

"80-feet-long bridge stolen in Bihar using gas cutters; third such incident in a month." Emma read out the news from the newspaper.

I can not believe. said Michelle. OH! yeah! read it for your self then, Emma gave Michelle the HIndu newspaper. "The road bridge on the Dardha river linking Jahanabad to Biharsharif in the Nalanda district was stolen.  The 80 feet long and 15 feet wide bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 45 lakhs Bihar. Gas cutters were used to dismantle the bridge. "

"O My God! our east side of our boundary wall is stolen."  Shouted Mr. Becket. Michelle dropped the newspaper and ran with Emma to see the wall. Four men are standing at the collapsed wall. They have crow bars in their hands. The wall is very old and they simply smash it.

How dare you touch my wall. Mr. Becket started shouting at them.  You occupied ten feet of our land. Go back Bucket Go back! they shouted.

Mr becket ran in and came out with a gun. Michelle was trying to stop him while Emma called the police. With in minutes the inspector entered the scene. I can book you for threatening them with gun. the inspector  shouted at Mr. Becket. First they attacked me with crowbars. They broke my boundary wall. Arrest them first. They got into an argument.

Michelle called Simhachalam.  Simhachalam " Said I am coming" In minutes he is at the school. "It is a civil matter. The case is in the court. Do you know that?" He scolded the inspector and sent him away. Later he tool Michelle to his place.

Mr. Becket Mr. Becket. I am coming. Is Michelle home?" The voice in the phone is heard like hound baying for blood. " Yes! You can come! She is waiting for you.

Varsha walked though the bushes. There is thick fog all over. He heard the howling of foxes. He wanted to go back but the idea that Vidisha is alone at the night spurred him. He heard the sound of his own foot steps. He waled still ahead and herd a female humming voice. He stood there and peered his eyes. He saw a banyan tree with long roots hanging from branches. A faint shape of girl appeared swinging in a cradle. He went close it was vidisha. She was smiling. It is very rough. She was humming a tune. Vidisha ! shouted Varsha. The cradle slowed down. Varsha went close and stopped the cradle. " Come on Let us go home" Said Varsha. "This is my home" said Vidisha. He caught her by hand and pulled her from cradle. Vidisha stood before him. "Vidisha stop acting. You will become insane with your action."  Varsha shouted in anger. Vidisha's lips were humming

Oh solitary poet in the  gloomy graveyard

why hangest here  for a  promenade

The night is cold and the scene is dreadful

Why is the smile on your lips so wistful?

Screeching owls squawking rooks

flickering flame  all hopes in wrecks

what of your fame that reached apogee

why wanderst thou like a refugee

Abundant tombs, withered wreaths

souls sauntering without sheaths

This is what remains when life ends

No one  ever death transcends

Too short is life's window

Bygone is all but a shadow

Varsha was shocked when Vidisha read the sonnet  from the book. "Ahalya! " He shouted She is your daughter! mind you. I want to swing.. I want to swing.. Vidisha tried to go back. Varsha caught her by hand and walking towards her house. "I know what you want and you know what I am doing." Varsha shouted. Vidisha walked behind Varsha calmly.  Varsha dropped her at home and got into the taxi.

Michelle stood before Simhachalm in thigh-high, pink lingerie. The fleece material clung to her body showing the curves at her waist, the bump of her fat round ass and the heft of her big tits. She has creamy silky skin and brilliant eyes. A soft beauty - Apsara. Simhachalm said to himself and moved close. He embraced her passionately. His hands are feeling her back, his lips are feeling her neck his nose is feeling the intoxicating scent of Michelle’s body. "Apsara your subtle cute body and hot breaths get my blood flowing. I am becoming hard as stone." He whispered in her ear.

Michelle smiled that sweet, sexy smile augmented his passion. He kissed her lips. He untied her robe and opened it. Her body was tight, fit and beautifully pale. He ran his fingers from her hips to her stomach, then cupped her big, soft breasts. “You are my dream for years. I am going to fulfil it.” Said Simhachalm.

“I am going to fulfil my dream too.” Said Michelle. A quick passion engulfed him. He licked her lips. Her lips tasted like faded peppermint, their subtle wetness pulling him in. He had mouth to mouth kiss for a while. Michelle never resisted. Simhachalm was overjoyed and pushed her on to the bed.

He jumped on her. He was trying to undress himself. Michelle did not let him. He denuded her. His eyes were wide open to see her beauty. He was playing with her warm, comforting body, her beautiful stomach and was going down. He was in the heaven kissing the folds and strips of delicate satin between her thighs.

Simhachalm felt deep pain in the back. Before he had realized that a knife was struck in his back Michelle pulled it out and, in a millisecond, she stabbed deeper once more. A third and fourth and so on until Simhachalm was still. She washed the blood off her nude body had a bath, dressed up and dragged the dead body to the police station and surrendered with the knife.

The car was cutting through the darkness. Nagarau is driving. Bairreddy sat next to him. His followers are behind.  The car was crossing the village cinema.

“The church revenue dropped acutely. It causes concern. Where is joseph Venkateswarulu? He betrayed us. I thought that he would develop the believers.

Let him go to hell. I can do his job.” said Bairreddy.

The car was crossing the village cinema. Nagireddy looked casually through the window. The scene in front of the village cinema demanded his attention. On the stage in front of the village theatre, a man in white suit with a mike in hand was shouting in English.  People thronged to listen to him.

“When the value of value is valuable to oneself it is valuable.”

The words touched Nagireddy’s ears. He stopped the car.

Nagireddy looked at the man keenly. “Mareedu in full suit wearing tie preaching in English. I cannot believe this!” said Baireddy watching him with bated breath.

The man on the stage was speaking enthusiastically.  "I am here to convey the God's message and love. Then I will pray for each one of you. I can guarantee you after this prayer you will never be the same again.”

I can never  expect you to speak like that Bairi, we must close down the church.

Bairreddy laughed. “Show me a single church close for want of funds. No church has ever been closed for want of funds. In fact most churches and NGOs are started for foreign funds. Look at Penchalayya, running his churches and NGOs. He attracted foreign funds. We too will get good days but we have to wait.

We need money to develop the church. Our church is small, poor and ugly. Pastor salary is a burden.  I am at wits end. said Nagireddy with a heavy voice and sighed.

Don’t worry the state government is giving pastors salaries and also granting money to build churches. This is the first time in the history a government is building churches on its own by calling bidding.

Nagi: Wonderful, we got a nice CM. In Andhra. Can we ever make big money like penchalayya? He has converted 200 families last year.

Bairi: Ha.hha hha ..ha He could not convert his family. His daughter ran away.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Jesus.” Mareedu sounded like a drum.

Nagi: I don’t know to beat this man, who is growing in front of our eyes.

I know said Bairreddy looking into his brother’s face laughing slyly.

The doctor stood by Maridu's bed. The nurse was standing beside him. A saline drip was given to his hand. " Where am I? Said Mareedu. The doctor bent down to listen to his feeble voice. Mareedu repeated " Where am I? What happened to me?"

Doctor : You are in Raghavendra Hospital. Last night you were admitted here.

Mareedu remembered what happened the previous night.

Maridu was driving the van. He was alone after dropping the clergy at their homes. He was driving home. He saw in the rear view mirror that a car was following his van. He tried to give them way twice but they did not cross his van. They were following him. He was engaged with his car radio switching the channels. Later he was listening to songs and  forgot to watch the car behind him. After a few miles he remembered that the car vanished.

Hardly did he know that they switched off the head lights. " Oh! It was my wild imagination why would anyone follow me?"  He thought and laughed. He wanted to relieve so he stopped at the way side, got off the van. He was walking to the bushes. When he felt a big hit on his head with wooden post. His vision blurred, but he sensed danger and began running. A few people started chasing him. He could not run as fast as them. soon another shot  but on his shoulder. One , two , three , they started beating nonstop. He saw bright light of head lights perhaps some car. Later he fell down and became unconscious.

Maridu came out from his thoughts. Who got me here, doctor?

Bharatavarsha, said the doctor. " Maridu was surprised, How do you know him?

The nurse looked at him angrily. "Don't you see TV? He has been conducting Velugu - A Telugu feature program every Saturday." said the Nurse. Maridu bit his tongue and smiled uncomfortably. " You have to stay in the hospital for four days. The injuries are deep. bye the bye tell your family members. " said the doctor. I have no family. said Mareedu.

The doctor left the room. Mareedu found a white cloth. He asked the nurse " What is this?"

Oh , This is the Kanduva , a cloth that covered Bharatavarsha's shoulders .

Mareedu took it gingerly and passed his fingers over it. He found blood at the end of Kanduva. It was in swasthik shape. The nurse watched the blood and said " Somebody threw a stone at him while he is carrying to his car. The stone hit his head and he wiped the blood with this Kanduva. Mareedu was shaken.  He took the Kanduva to his heart and hugged it affectionately.

Lok Sabha chamber looked majestic with 550 Members seated in their seats. With full attendance the house appears like the ganges on full course. The Speaker was entering the house with a smile. The uniformed attendent bent his  head standing upright and said " manya neey adyaksh ji patha rahe hain."

The full house stood and cheered gently. The speaker from his seat gazed at the members with a smile and raised his folded hands and stood a for a few seconds looking at all four corners of the house.

The seats are divided into six blocks, each with eleven rows. Block No. 1 on the right-hand side of the Speaker’s Chair and Block No. 6 on the left-hand side have 97 seats each. The remaining 4 blocks have 89 seats each. A seat is allotted in the chamber to each Member, including Ministers who are Members of Lok Sabha. The seats on the right-hand side of the Speaker’s Chair are occupied by the Members of the ruling party and those on the left-hand side by Members belonging to the Opposition Parties.  The Deputy Speaker occupied the first front row seat on the left side.

When he sat all the members also sat. After the form proceedings

the house entered the question hour.

Minister of States for Finance responded to a question of a member in the House about the Mudra loan beneficiaries, said he will collect the information and share it with him.

"Why is this House for if you will collect information about everything and then share it," The speaker asked ministers to answer the members' questions in the House itself.

A member from jarkhand : Adhyaksh ji , the  Minister talks about development of roads is uncomparable and at its best .If it is so how come we have 1.5 lakh accidents happening in our country every year? the government has made a notification making airbags mandatory in every vehicle, but it is not issued by the government , when will notification be issued?

The Highways minister answered that the government is making plans to reduce the accidents. The members laughed at the answer as the minister lacks clear answer or measures.

Arunatara : Adhyaksh mahoday , We have 5 lakh accidents not 1.5 lakh accidents. The road deaths are 1.5 lakh.  all the members cheered up for her keen observation and ready statitics.  but my question is , I want the government to answer howmany political murders are happening in our country?

Union minister of state for home  informed about the political assassinations that happened between 2017 and 2019. As many as 230 people were killed in various parts of the country for political reasons between the two years.

A member of the house from Salem made a complaint about protocol issue. The Home minister  said "Instructions and guidelines have been laid down by the Government of India from time to time governing the official dealings between the administration and the Members of Parliament. Besides extending due courtesies, the Government officials are expected to observe these guidelines/instructions in letter and spirit while dealing with the Members of Parliament in official dealings."

The day was warm. The October sun was mild. It was 4.00 PM. A Limousine was going to Indira Gandhi International Airport. Arunatara and Radhi Pradhan MP from Odissa were seated in the car.

" I have grape gardens in Hyderabad. I drop to see and spend one day  or two days in Hyderabad. You too stay with me Aruna.

No, I can't.  I have no time. I am going to Visakha to participate in several programs.

I have cultural program in Andhra University. It is a felicitation to a Devdasi who served literature and society. I have to study a solar model village and find out how it is working because in my constituency many villages are in dark. I want to implement the same model in tribal villages and bring light into their lives.

Don't be work holic, Aruna. MPs don't even like to go near Devdasis and tribals.

But I have seen speaking a lot about their wellbeing in Loksabha.

ha hha hha... the secret behind that is Loksabha has gone live. Many MPs prepare good questions and show great responsibility. Look at their private lives. Renuka Chaudhari MP from your State went shopping while her flight was waiting for her for two hours. Have not you seen Business standard Newspaper with headlines "Air India flight delayed as Congress MP goes 'shopping'. I think it is new to you?

It is news and shock to me. Can a flight be delayed for two hours?

Then you have to learn a lot. The crew meant to operate the flight Delhi-Bhuvaneswar AI 437 was stopped to favour a BJP Parliament member.  The flight to Bhubaneshwar was  meant to take off at 6.20 pm on Friday,  but it actually took off at 2.00 am Saturday.

What about the passengers ?

Ha hha hha!  Do you know what happened?

------ looked dazed -------------

The flight was diverted to Bhopal .. ha hha hhaa  She burst into laughter. Controlled after a while and said " The passengers ha hha hhaa... who waited learned that the flight was cancelled. Haven't you read the news in Times of India?

Aruna: What is the government doing?

Raadhi: The government is writing to all airlines to follow protocol for MPs. It is also reported in news.  "Yes, I have read." said Arunatara with a sad voice.

Aruna: How irresponsible shameless are these people in power to eat away the public money

Radhi: Ha hha hha not only the people in power , people out of power also.  Even after the tenure we have the same powers. A former Rajya Sabha member has booked 63 train tickets  but availed only seven of these while claiming reimbursement for all of them, leading to extra payment of 1,46,920 by the Parliament secretariat to the ministry of Railways.

Aruna: Are we really serving the public?

Raadhi: We are ruling the public. They will serve us. It's their duty - the people and officers serve us. So don't worry if the flight is delayed or cancelled. The flight is at 12.00 in the afternoon but it's 4.00  PM. The flight is rescheduled.

The limousine reached the airport. The boarding gate remained closed in New Delhi airport. "I take leave of you Raadhi. I can't travel in this flight. Arunatara took taxi and left the airport.
