Jugarat IAS officer Rajitt kumar's wife Surya who 'eloped' with her gangster lover was wanted by the Tamil Nadu Police in an abduction case of a 14-year-old teenage boy in Madurai. It sounds strange but true.  Surya, returned to her husband's residence to evade arrest but her husband Ranjitkumar refused her. Surya committed suicide. Surya is 45-year-old woman  who had allegedly eloped with her gangster boyfriend nine months ago,  died on Saturday in the hospital. 

IAS officer Puja Khedkar, accused of using fraudulent means to clear her civil services exam.  RTI activist from Pune Vijay kumbhar, whose exposed the IAS probationer Dr Puja Khedkar has shaken the Indian administrative system and the government. It has called for a setting up of a Commission headed by a sitting Supreme Court judge to proble into the issue. The nation was startled at the misuse of fraudulent certificates - pertaining to caste, disability, sports, and other special categories— used to gain undue advantages, and gain concessions, ultimately leading to unfairly gaining the job  of power and prestige. 

Her attitude betrayed her to the public and her shocking behaviour and fraud to the media. Her demands have demeaned her position and raised doubts in the mind of the Chief secretary another IAS. She demanded for a special chamber with police gaurd and arranged for herself a blue VIP lamp on her private Audi car. More shocking is her occupying municial land and building a mansion even while she is in probation.  

A Similar incident in the life of Poolabala

 బ్రిటిష్ కాలంలో భారత్‌లో ఓసారి ఓ రైలు వెళ్తోంది. అందులో చాలామంది బ్రిటిషర్లే ఉన్నారు. వారితో పాటు ఓ భారతీయుడు కూడా కూర్చుని ప్రయాణిస్తున్నాడు. నల్లటి చర్మరంగు కలిగి, సన్నగా ఉన్న ఆ వ్యక్తి తెల్లటి దుస్తులు ధరించి ఉన్నాడు. అతడిని చూసిన బ్రిటిషర్లు.. అతడో తెలివితక్కువవాడని, నిరక్షరాస్యుడని  అనుకున్నారు  కానీ, ఉన్నట్లుండి లేచి నిలబడిన ఆ వ్యక్తి రైలు చైన్ లాగాడు. వేగంగా వెళ్తున్న రైలు కొద్దిసేపట్లోనే ఆగింది. అందరూ అతడి గురించే మాట్లాడుకోసాగారు. అక్కడికొచ్చిన గార్డు.. చైన్ ఎవరు లాగారని ప్రశ్నించాడు.

'నేనే' అని ఆ వ్యక్తి సమాధానమిచ్చాడు. 'ఎందుకు లాగానో చెప్పనా... కొద్ది దూరంలో రైలు పట్టాలు దెబ్బతిన్నాయని నాకనిపిస్తోంది' అని ఆ వ్యక్తి చెప్పాడు. నీకెలా తెలుసు అని గార్డు మళ్లీ ప్రశ్నించాడు. రైలు సాధారణ వేగంలో వచ్చిన మార్పు, దానితో పాటు శబ్దంలో వచ్చిన మార్పును బట్టి నాకు అలా అనిపించింది అని ఆ వ్యక్తి అన్నాడు. దీంతో కొద్ది దూరం నడిచి వెళ్లి చూసిన గార్డు అక్కడి దృశ్యాన్ని చూసి ఆశ్చర్యపోయాడు. రైలు పట్టాలు రెండూ దూరం దూరంగా పడి ఉన్నాయి. నట్లు, బోల్టులు దేనికవి విడిపోయి ఉన్నాయి.

ఈ ఘటనలో చైన్ లాగిన ఆ వ్యక్తి పేరు శ్రీ మోక్షగుండం విశ్వేశ్వరయ్య గారు.

                                                 

ఇలాంటి సంఘటనే నా జీవితంలో జరిగింది. ఒక అమెరికన్ తానేదో పండితుడిని అనుకుని భారతీయుల ఇంగ్లిష్ ని చులకన చేసి మాట్లాడాడు. అప్పుడు నేను ఈ పేరా చెప్పి అర్థం చెప్పమని అడిగితే చదవడానికి కూడా చాలా ఇబ్బంది పడ్డాడు. అర్థం చెప్పలేకపోయాడు. తరువాత నేనెవరో తెలుసుకుని సారీ చెప్పాడు అది మీరు కూడా చదవండి. 

If you're a true connoisseur or a critic you neither adjudge like a curmudgeon nor contort the the cryptic talent behind a curio you know for sure either to prevaricate or to connive is to disparage the prodigy moreover it isn't felony to commend the métier of a doyen. like a fair gourmet who would appraise the finesse of the culinary you would acquiesce the corollary of your position and conciliate yourself like a conscript and carry out your duty.

Alaska Cat Mayor

Despite having no experience, no platform to speak , no real power he became the Mayor of a small town in Alaska. Who is he? He name is Stubbs. He is the cat, leader of Talkeetna, for nearly 20 years.

Talkeetna is a small town  with fewer than 900 residents, In fact, as an unincorporated territory, it’s not even really a town at all.  it is a village”   In 1997, the mayoral election sparked apathy in the community, with no candidate deemed worthy enough. 

The manager at a  General Store, picked a kitty from a box full of unwanted cats. She selected a little ginger kitten whom she fittingly called “Stubbs.”A political star was born. The people of Talkeetna accepted the cat as their  Mayor. Mayor  Stubbs  became the town’s new leader. According to the manager  “He doesn’t raise our taxes — we have no sales tax. He doesn’t interfere with business. 

He’s honest.” Mayor Stubbs led a fairly scandal-free reign, until he had a run-in with an unleashed dog. The dog mauled Stubbs, who was left with a punctured lung, and well as broken bones and deep cuts. The mayor survived and kept up his career until he died four years later, in 2016, at the age of 20.

Author Poolabala Visits Chukkapalli School

Today I went to Chukkkapalli School near Nunna as chief guest of English and foreign languages skills program. I have taken leave from my work to meet the big group of young learners located 40 kilometers from my house in Vanukuru.  

Kesarapalli to Adivinekkalam Via Mustabad.  

The astounding beauty of nature is eye catching. Many a pleasant scenery dance before your eyes.          I went to kesarapalli from Vanukuru and from there I took the road to Adivinekkalam where Chukkapalli School is located.  In the sprawling campus with  tall green trees I parked my car.  I took all my major books and  got down.  The school looked like a big ashram. 

The principal of the school Mr. Sharma  received me at the car. He welcomed me into a tatched canopy.  We sat under the canopy  with my books. He was pleased with the biggest Telugu novel Bharatavarsha. He asked it for his school library. He wanted to have copies of most of my works. 

 Meantime all the teachers and staff assembled in the auditorium. The principal has taken me into the auditorium. Two little girls offered me bouquet. while the projector was showing my Bharatavarsha program on ETV.  I spoke in six foreign languages and entertained and surprised the children. The children loved foreign languages. 

The focus was on How to learn English.

The most important secret behind English learning is  listening to the rhythm of English and enjoying its beauty. This requires learning the following. 

1. The 44 sounds of English

2. Word pronunciation

3. Word stress ( where the words is stressed) 

4. Pronunciation of phrases ( entirely new to us)

5. Voice Modulation or intonation. 

The program went on like a work shop. involving the students and the teachers. The program lasted two hours. the children enjoyed the program. I have received many rare honours . This is rarest of the rare. The sprit of the founders of such an institution and their munificience is a blessing for many generations. 

Subliminal power - Improve faster

 Have you ever heard the word Subliminal? I guess you haven't. Those who haven't heard are disadvantaged. This disadvantage comes naturally when you are born in Andhrapradesh. It is true. Language defeciency is acquired by birth in Andhrapradesh.  In case you have heard of the word subliminal, you are in the micrscopic minority of somewhat learned or educated people. How many of those who heard it have known the meaning of it completely?

                     

The answer is very very few actually know the meaning completely.  Just read the meaning. It is explained  differently by different dictionaries. It may not be possible to understand clearly if you follow only one dictionary.  Here is what Webster dictionary says about subliminal

How many of those who know the meaning can really interpret read further about it.  The answer is known to you. Think of yourself. It is individual. Have you read something about it? 

How many people have the habit of reading? Many people say that they have no time to read and escape. That is only a lame excuse. They don't know that they are escaping from their life, living in the darkness and ignorance. Ignorance is like slum. People are scared of poverty not slavery to money.  Actually they must be scared of slavery or lack of freedom. People hate slums. Actually they must hate ignorance.  If you analyse you can clearly understand and feel your subconscious mind. 

Have you gone deeper into reading?  An unwilling man answers " If only I had time I would read."  But person who has quest for knowledge will always find time to read. This is what researchers think
