Dr. లక్ష్మీపార్వతిగారి చేతులలో భారతవర్ష

 Dr. Lakshmiparvatigaru is a scholar who needs no special intro.  I was fortunate to translate her Classical Novel SRAMANAKAM. She is the chairperson of  Telugu Academy  and Telugu Official Language. Today Bharatavarsha has gone into the hands of such a great scholar and lover of Telugu.  She admired Bharatavarsha. That is enough for me. When she writes her opinion I will share with you.

A big thanks to renowned and the most happening  Journalist and my guruji Krishnamrajugaru without his blessings I could not have reached such great personalities as Lakshmi Parvati garu and Supreme court Justice Sri. Chalameswar garu. Bharatavarsha will go into the hands of many great personalities in its long voyage but nobody knows when it  reaches its destination.  Do you know who is that last person into whose hands the novel goes? At least can you guess into whose hands Bharatavarsha goes next?

Bharatavarsha is one of the world's Biggest Novels of 21 century.

Bharatavarsha is in fact a Spiritual Romantic Novel of 1265 pages written in Classical Telugu and metered verses of Mattebha, sardhula, utpalamala, champakamala, utpalamala , Tarala, dvipada genres.

Polyglot  and the first French Novelist from  Andhraprdesh Poolabala Venkat is an ex-phonic writer who wrote books in six foreign languages started writing his Telugu novel Bharatavarsha just to spend Corona home stay meaningfully.  He never knew that one day his novel would emerge as one of the biggest novels. 

Big works by  English - American and French  writers.

English writer Margaret Michelle's Pulitzer prize winning novel - Gone with the Wind.  Margaret wrote her 1047 page novel for 10 years. She never thought of publishing it. 

American writer Michael Crichton started writing his Science fiction novel Jurassic Park in 1980.  He published his novel   1990. It took 10 yrs  for him to finish this novel.  ​In 1993 Steven Spielberg adapted the book into the blockbuster film Jurassic Park.

French writer Victor Hugo wrote his epic Novel Les Miserbles for 12 years.  He took 12 years for him to write 1462 page novel. 

English American and French authors have taken at least a decade to write their novels which were written in colloquial language but Venkat poolabala has written Bharatavarsha in ancient  language Classical Telugu using complex prosody  and metered verses of all genres. 

                                   

 Bharatavarsha is going to the hands of a renowned personality  on 27th October in Vijayawada.  

Can you guess into whose hands it is going next? Bharatavarsha in its long voyage may go into the hands of many great people but the final destination of Bharatavarsha is smt.Adapa Tulasi whose inspiration is the heart of Bharatavarsha. I have foreword from many great scholars for this novel but nothing is fitter than that of Smt. Tulasi.

Recently I joined the group of my childhood friends. There are thirty devils. Well! you can imagine the fun!  Today I went to my childhood friend. I spent beautiful moments with him. My wife and his wife became good friends. My wife bought oranges and presented them. She also presented her a book. we have taken pictures. 

భర్తని నమ్మి ..

ఆమెకు పెళ్లి అయ్యి ఐదు ఏళ్లయ్యింది. ఆమె భర్త ఆమెతో ఇద్దరు ఆడపిల్లలని కనిపించాడు. ఆమె అత్త ( భర్త తల్లి) విద్య హీనురాలు. మొగ్గురు మగపిల్లలని కన్నదని అహంకారం. ఆడపిల్లలని కన్న తల్లితండ్రులన్నా, ఆడపిల్లలన్నా చాలా చులకన. పాపం చేస్తే ఆడపిల్లలు పుడతారని చెపుతుంటుంది. కొడుకు తల్లి చేతులో మర బొమ్మ. ఈ పరిస్థితి చూసి రెండవ పిల్ల వద్దని చెప్పాను. వినలేదు. రెండవసారి ఆడపిల్ల పుట్టింది.

పిల్ల పుట్టిన తరువాత అతడి తల్లి ( అత్త )సాధింపులు, అవమానాలు పెరిగిపోయాయి. ఆమె తట్టుకోలేకపోయింది. 13రోజుల పురిటికందుతో, కన్నీళ్లతో అత్తారిల్లు వదిలి పుట్టింటికి వెళ్ళిపోయింది. భార్యని తీసుకురమ్మని ఆమె భర్తకి చెప్పాను. కుదరదు అన్నాడు. తల్లి అతడి తలలో కూర్చుంది. హేళనగా నవ్వి మరిన్ని అవమానకరమైన మాటలు అన్నాడు.

ఆమె విడిపోడానికి నిర్ణయించుకుంది. భర్తని నమ్మి పిల్లలని కంటే ఆడదాని బ్రతుకు ఇంతే. వివాహం విచ్చిన్నం అయితే పిల్లల భారం తల్లిదే అవుతోంది. పది సంవత్సరాలు భర్త ప్రవర్తన చూస్తే కానీ ఆడది పిల్లలజోలికి వెళ్ళకూడదు.

సనాతన ధర్మం పేరుతో ఆత్మాభిమానానికి శిలువ వేసే స్త్రీలకు ఇతరుల మెప్పుకోసం జీవితాన్నిచితిమంటలకు ఆహుతి చేసి ఇతరులు ఏమనుకుంటారో అని జీవితాన్ని చీకట్లో గడిపేసే వారికి, కూర్చుని కుటుంబ విలువలు చెప్పేవాళ్లకి, పెళ్లాలమీద జోకులేసే పనికిమాలిన కార్టూనిస్టులకి, అది చూసి నవ్వుకునే మగాళ్ళకి ఈ పోస్టు అంకితం.

Difference between preface and foreword

Prologue or foreword is about the story and scenes of the book usually written by somebody other than the author. Preface is about the discussion of the subject area. Prologue comes first and preface follows the preface.  You must have already read the preface of my novel New Life. Now you read the prologue of the novel New life. I am sure that it fires your zeal.

Pearl like people, honey like hearts, gold like character. Each character is worthy of admiration and emulation. Five heroines are heros of this novel. They live in the beautiful garden of friendship sail together in love ship and help each other in courtship.

Manalini is from Rajastan, Kyravi is from west Bengal, Devaki is from Mathura, Meghana is from Andhra. Mapuii is from Mizo. They emerge from different states of India, embrace different traditions. When all traditions melt in under the heat of metro culture what saves them forms the basis of the story New Life.

Unforeseen events , shocking twists, the mystery of Mayur continuous until the climax. Delicate humour appears like rainbow in the azure sky,  time to time the romantic breeze  touches the tender love clouds that precipitate dense romance.

Manalni is the  iconic social servant . social service is the blood in her veins. She is devotional , sentimental , duty minded. A look of her can cast away evil and a touch of her can mitigate pain. but it is painful to see that she lacks man's touch. she can not imagine how a man feels until suddenly she puts her hand in the hand of a handsome doctor.  Two hearts soldier in the in the heat of love. Love is too unpredictable and unstoppable.

Kairavi who imbibed use and throw philosophy goes near the lamp of love.  Like a phototactic insect she gets stuck to the lamp of love.

Devaki anglic beauty in her middle age  under the duress of the failed marriage often bewildered at the thought of remarriage.  when the word marriage is uttered shyness takes better of her. She never believes that one day she can sit under her own vine and fig tree. With kick of luck she is transported into the world of wealth and love.   Presumably her favourite God  kanniah gives her the kick.  After all She is His devotee and from Mathura too.

Mizo beauty Mapuii is shrinking in the quagmire of defeatism.  Mapuii  despises marriage like Devaki. There are many similarities between Mapuii and Devaki. But there is a strong dichotomy between  them. Mapuii runs away from her polygamous husband unlike Devaki. The untold polygamous culture of Mizo is revealed in detail. meghana's trip to Mizo brings Mizoram alive with its rivers, mountains, waterfalls , towns, people and literature.  Manjyoth’s honest love gives her hope.  Meghana with her indefatigable efforts extricates Mapuii from the tanticles of first marriage.

Even NASA fails to measure the depth of Meghana’s heart.   Meghana who seems to be in the abbys reaches zenith.  With head in zenith she sings aubade to the new life.

                                                      Preface to the Novel New Life

And for a woman thou art first created – Shakespeare says that man is created for woman’s pleasure. Whether it is true or not New life is a Feminist genre created for woman’s pleasure.

For reasons unknown many marriages are breaking very early - they last only days.  In some cases the marriages last for years leaving more trouble. What should the brides of broken marriages do? Should they remarry or live a painful single life?

Many people say that they should marriage again and live happily. But remarriage is not as easy as saying. That is why many women prefer to stay in barren marriages. They pretend to be happy hiding the bruises of failure marriage under their mantle. Majority of happy marriages are compromised marriages. Women don’t have the guts to express their pain and seek justice. why? 

Women are traditionally shackled and culturally emaciated. The Itahasas written in the epoch of time had laid firm foundation to the ideal woman. Sita’s suffering was so glorified that women are forced to emulate Sita and suffer silently.  Many books and films threaten women of ill fate if they separate from man. It is often showed in films and books that the woman who left husband would ultimately reach husband’s feet or ends her life.  New life is a huge relief from such male dominant Indian literature.

If marriage fails  don’t bury your heart in despair. Man or woman can fall in love at any stage of life. Love is unpredictable and unstoppable. Rise from the fracas and fiasco of marriage and  reach New Life from dungeons of despair.

సుప్రభాతం - ఒక మంచి నవల

ముత్యాల్లాంటి  మనుషులు,  మకరందం లాంటి మనసులు, బంగారంలాంటి  గుణగణాలున్న పాత్రలు ఈ సుప్రభాత సాహిత్య వనంలో అడుగడుగునా కనిపిస్తాయి. స్నేహసుమ శోభిత వనంలో జ్ఞానభూషణాలంకృత  శిల్పం  సుప్రభాతం. 

భిన్న సంస్కృతులు సంప్రదాయాలు నుంచి వచ్చిన ఐదుగురు మగువలు- రాజస్థాన్ మగువ మనాలిని, బెంగాలీ భామ కైరవి, మిజో పుత్తడిబొమ్మ మాఫుయి, మథురా నగరి ముద్దుగుమ్మ దేవకి, ఆంద్ర ఆడపడుచు మేఘన.  అనుకోని సంఘటనలు, ఆశ్చర్యకరమైన మలుపులు. ఎడతెగని ఉత్కంఠ (సస్పెన్స్) చివరిదాకా కొనసాగుతూనే ఉంటుంది. పిల్లతెమ్మెరలు వీస్తుండగా సున్నితమైన హాస్యం హరివిల్లులా ఆవిష్కృతం అవుతుంటుంది. అడపా దడపా మదన మేఘాలు కమ్మి  శృంగార వర్షంలా కురుస్తూనేవుంటుంది. 

సంప్రదాయాన్ని కట్టుబాట్లను పుణికిపుచ్చుకున్న రాజస్థాన్ మగువ మనాలిని. దైవభక్తి క్రమశిక్షణకు మారుపేరైన మనాలిని లో ప్రవహించేది రక్తం కాదు మానవత్వం. స్వార్ధాన్ని సవాలు చేసే సేవా తత్పరత నిండిన కర్పూరం మనాలిని. మగవాళ్ళ చూపు కూడా ఓర్వనిమనాలిని చేయి, అనుకోకుండా, సూదంటు  రాయిలాటి మగాడి చేతిలో చిక్కి లక్కలా కరిగిపోతుంది. అంతే ఆమెలో జడత్వం కర్పూరంలా ఆవిరయిపోతుంది.  

 ప్రేమని కొట్లో కొనుక్కుని వాడిపారేసే వస్తువుల జాబితాలో చేర్చేసిన బెంగాలీ భామ కైరవి  ప్రేమ అనే దీపం చూసి దగ్గరకు పోయి దీపపు పురుగులా అతుక్కుని వెనక్కు రాలేక పోతుంది.  శిశిరంలో  మగ్గుతూ కగ్గిన మిజో పుత్తడి బొమ్మ మాఫుయి జీవితంలో కొత్తకళ వస్తుంది. మంజ్యోత్  అనే గండు  కోకిల  కూస్తుంది.

మాఫుయి జీవితంలో ప్రేమ పలుకుతుంది. వసంతం  వెల్లివిరుస్తుంది.  

తానూ పెళ్లి చేసుకోవచ్చు అని తోచని మథురా నగరి మధ్యవయసు ముద్దుగుమ్మ దేవకి. పెళ్లి ఊసెత్తగానే  వెన్ను చలితో వణికి,  మనసు సిగ్గుతో ముడుచుకుపోయే ఈ  కోమలిని అనూహ్యంగా  వలచిన వాడే  వెతుక్కుంటూ వచ్చి ఎదురుపడతాడు. తుకారాంని  విమానం ఇంటి కొచ్చి  స్వర్గలోకానికి తీసుకుపో యినట్టు అతడే ఆమెను ఐశ్వర్య పల్లకిలో  ప్రేమలోకంలోకి తీసుకుపోతాడు. 

ఆంద్ర ఆడపడుచు మేఘన గుండెలోతు కొలవడం  నాసా కి కూడా సాధ్యం కాదు.  అగాథం లో ఉన్నట్టు కనిపించి ఆకాశం అంతత్తు ఎదిగిన, మేఘన తన జీవితాన్నలిమిన మేఘాలని చీల్చుకుని సూర్యుడిలా కొత్తజీవితానికి సుప్రభాతం పలుకుతుంది.  ప్రణయం శరణం గచ్చామి. 

ఒక మహాను భావుడికి

ఇవన్నీ ఎందుకు రాస్తున్నానంటే ఒక మహాను భావుడికి నిజం తెలియాలని. 

కావ్యం కన్నె లాంటిది అంటే నమ్మలేదు. కన్నెని ఒక అయ్య  చేతిలో పెట్టాలని చెపితే నాకు తలకెక్కలేదు. ఇప్పుడు బుక్ రిలీజ్ కోసం  తిండికి, నిద్రకి కరువై   సెలిబ్రిటీల వెనక తిరుగుతుంటే చుక్కలు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి.  కావ్య రచనకి , దానికంటే ఎక్కువ ప్రింటింగ్ కి, దానికంటే ఎక్కువ పాటలు రికార్డింగుకి మరియు  రిలీజ్ కి శ్రమపడుతున్నాను. ఇందుకు బాధలేదు. కొంత మంది మహానుబావులు నేను వెళ్లిన సలిబ్రిటీస్ కి ఫోన్ చేసి  చెడగొట్టాలని చూస్తున్నారు. 

Let me address you directly. భారతవర్ష నిజంగా ప్రపంచంలో అతిపెద్ద నవల అని నేను ఆంటే చాలా కువివర్శలు చేసావు. భారతవర్ష  పెద్ద నవల కాదని  గుయిన్ సాగ, వెనమురసు, దేవత గురించి చెప్పావు. నువ్వు పేర్లు మాత్రమే చెప్పావు వాటి కథ నేను చెపుతాను నువ్వు విను.

1. గుయిన్ సాగ అనే జాపనీస్ నవల   43,000 పేజీలు నిడివి కలిగి ప్రపంచంలో అతిపెద్ద నవలగా కనిపిస్తుంది. కానీ నిజానికి   గుయిన్ సాగ  ఒక నవల కాదు నవలా శ్రేణి. 143 నవలల సమూహం గుయిన్ సాగ.   కురిమోతో  అనే రచయిత్రి  ఈ  హీరొయిక్ ఫేంటసీ నావెల్ ను  1979 నుండి 2009 వరకు ( 40 సంవత్సరాలు ) రాసింది.  ఒక పుస్తకం లో ఎన్ని పేజీలుంటాయో చూడు 43000 / 143  కేలిక్యులేటర్ ఉంది కదా.  

2.వెనమురసు  22,000 పేజీల  తమిళ నవల ప్రపంచంలో రెండవ స్థానంలో కనిపిస్తుంది.   కానీ  నిజానికి  జేయ మోహన్ అనే తమిళ రచయిత  మహాభారతాన్ని   వెనమురసు గా   (re-narrated) పునః రచించాడు. అది తన రచన కాదు  ఇది కూడా ఒకే నవల కాదు 26 పుస్తకముల  శ్రేణి.   వ్యాస భాగవతం,  దేవి భాగవతం వంటి  పురాణాలు కలిపి రాసిన కథ ఇది. 

3. దేవత  4723 పేజీల ఉర్దూ నవల ప్రపంచములో మూడవ స్థానంలో కనిపిస్తుంది.  ఆల్ పాకిస్తానీ న్యూస్ పేపర్స్ సొసైటీ వారి పత్రిక లో 1977 నుండి 2010 దాకా (33 సంవత్సరాలు) ప్రచురించబడింది. 

4.  లె  జామ్ దు బొంఓలాంతే  ( The people of goodwill) 7892 పేజీల ఫ్రెంచ్ నవల కూడా ఒక్క నవల కాదు 27 పుస్తకాల  నవలా శ్రేణి.   

1970 లో Zettels Traum అనే జర్మన్ పుస్తకం 1536 పేజీల పుస్తకం ప్రచురించబడింది కానీ అదికూడా  అర్నో స్మిట్   సొంత రచన కాదు. అల్లెన్ పో అనే అమెరికన్ రచయిత రచనలన్నీ( అనేక పుస్తకాలు ) అనువాదం మాత్రమే.  

ఇలా చూసుకుంటూ పొతే 1000 పేజీలు దాటిన డైరెక్ట్ నవలలు గత బ్లాగ్లో చెప్పినట్టుగా కొద్దిగానే ఉన్నాయి. కానీ వాటి రచనా కాలం 10 సంవత్సరాలు పైమాటే.  ఇవన్నీ ఎందుకు రాస్తున్నానంటే ఇవేవీ తెలియకుండా నువ్వు మాట్లాడావు కనుక.  ఇంకొక విషయం  నీ నాలెజ్ ఏంటో గురువు గారికి తెలిసిపోయింది.  

 అంతటితో ఆగక సులభంగా ఉండే భాష ఉండాలి కానీ  తెలుగు గ్రాంధికం అనవసరం అన్నావు. సులభంగా ఉంటుంది అని నైటీ వేసుకుని పెళ్లి చేసుకుంటారా?  ఆమాటకొస్తే ఇంగ్లిష్ పదాలు తెలుగు కంటే సులభం అనా?  తెలుగు వాడికి తెలుగు బరువయ్యిందా ?   సినిమాల్లో కమెడియన్స్ చేత కూడా ఇంగ్లీష్ డైలాగ్స్ చెప్పిస్తున్నారు ?  

 

డేటాబేస్ దానయ్య కావచ్చు దారిన పోయే దానయ్య కావచ్చు సినిమాల్లో ఏ పాత్ర  చేతైనా ఇలాటి మాటలే పలికిస్తు న్నారు.  ఆ షాడో వల్ల డి విటమిన్  డేఫిషెన్సీ వచ్చిందని ఎఫిషెన్సీ వాడాను. లా లో ఉన్న లూప్ హోల్స్ నాకు ఫుల్ మీల్స్ దానికి ఈ డేటా బేసే సోర్స్. ఈ అమ్మాయి  ఆదికేశవుడి ఓన్లీ డాటర్  ఫాదర్ జైంటు   ఫ్యామిలీ జాయంటు. సెంటిమెంట్ సిమెంట్ లా  పనిచేసి వ్యాపారం స్ట్రాంగ్ అయిపొయింది. Yes she is merciless, ruthless, emotionless, stone -hearted , hardcore business woman.

ఎందుకు అంటే ఆంధ్రులకి స్వచ్ఛమైన తెలుగు  కష్టం అట.  తెలుగు బరువైపోయింది.   కొండలలో కొలువైన కోనేటి రాయడు వాడు తీసేసి  హిల్స్ లో స్టేషన్ అయినా కోనేటి రాయ్ అని మార్చి పాడుకుందాం. ( stationed - past tense of  the verb "to stay" కొలువైయున్న )

భారతవర్ష తొలిపలుకులు రాసిన వ్యక్తి మామూలు వ్యక్తి కాదు. ఆయన నాకిచ్చిన అవకాశం కూడా మామూలు అవకాశం  కాదు  అయ్యలకే అయ్య పెద్దయ్య ఆయన తొలిపలుకు చదువుతూనే నీ నోరు మూత  పడుతుంది.
