గలగలా గోదారి కదలిపోతుంటేను 
 in the meandering course of Godavari
బిరాబిరా క్రిష్ణమ్మ పరుగులిడుతుంటేను
 in the dashing sprint of Krishna
బంగారు పంటలే పండుతాయీ
 the lands yield golden harvest
మురిపాల ముత్యాలు దొరులుతాయి.
 and the lasting prosperity thrives
అమరావతి నగర అపురూప శిల్పాలు 
the amazing sclupture of Amaravathi
త్యాగయ్య గొంతులో తారాడు నాదాలు 
 the melodious strain of tyagayya
తిక్కయ్య కలములొ తియ్యందనాలు. 
the honeyed charm of tikkanna
నిత్యమై నిఖిలమై నిలచి వుండేదాకా 
so long as they last

 21 వ శతాబ్దపు  తొలి ఫ్రెంచ్ నవల NOTRE ÉCOLE. 

బహుభాషా కోవిదుడు వెంకట్ పూలబాలరచించిన  ద్వి భాషా నవల, అవర్ స్కూల్ (ఆంగ్లం), నోత్క్ ఏకోల్ (ఫ్రెంచ్) జనవరి 30 వ తేదీన విజయవాడ మాలక్ష్మి చాంబర్స్ లో జరిగిన పుస్తకావిష్కరణ కార్యక్రమంలో విడుదల చేయబడింది.

జనవరి 30 వ తేదీన విజయవాడ మాలక్ష్మి చాంబర్స్ లో జరిగిన పుస్తకావిష్కరణకార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్య అతిధి గా పాల్గొన్న ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్  ఎడిటర్స్ అసోసియేషన్ ప్రెసిడెంట్  వీ. వీ ఆర్ . కృష్ణం రాజు గారి  చేతులమీదుగా ఈ ఫ్రెంచ్ నవల విడుదల చేయబడింది. 1879 లో తోరు దత్  రచించిన  Le Journal de Mademoiselle d’Arvers మొట్టమొదటి సారిగా భారతదేశంలో ప్రచురించబడిన ఫ్రెంచ్ నవల. 138 సంవత్సరాల తరువాతప్రచురించబడిన ఫ్రెంచ్ నవల notre école. ఆ రాసినది వెంకట్  పూలబాల  తెలుగువాడుకావడం గమనార్హం అని కృష్ణం రాజు అన్నారు.

అమరావతి కల్చరల్ సెంటర్ సీఈ ఓ డాక్టర్ నాగి రెడ్డి  మాట్లాడుతూ ఒక తెలుగు వ్యక్తిఫ్రెంచ్నవల రాయడం తెలుగు జాతికే గర్వ కారణం అన్నారు. కె ఎల్ యూనివర్సిటీ ఇంగ్లిష్ప్రొఫెసర్ కె సురేంద్ర అవర్ స్కూల్ నవల ఎంతో హృద్యమైన రచనా శైలిని కలిగి ఉందని, ఓపల్లెటూరిలో చిన్న పిల్లలు  తమ స్కూల్ ను తామే నిర్మించుకునే దశలో తమలో ఉన్నటాలెంట్స్ వెలికి తీసి యావత్ ప్రపంచ ద్రుష్టి  ని  ఆకర్షించడం,  తరువాత తమ అంతిమలక్ష్యమైన  స్కూల్ ని నిర్మించుకోవడం చాలా స్ఫూర్తి దాయకమని అన్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో  ఆంద్ర ఆర్ట్స్ అకాడమీ కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ గొల్ల నారాయణ , కెరీర్ మెంటార్స్అధ్యక్షుడు శ్రీ ఆనంద్ , వరలక్ష్మి  తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

ఈ పుస్తక రచయత పూలబాల తెలుగు మరియు విదేశీ భాషలలో రచయిత. ఫ్రెంచ్, జర్మన్ , స్పానిష్, ఇటాలియన్ , ఇంగ్లిష్ జాపనీస్ భాషల బోధకులు. వీరు ఆచార్య నాగార్జునా విశ్వవిద్యాలయము లో " ఇంటర్నేషనల్  స్టూడెంట్ సెంటర్ " లో విదేశీ విద్యార్థులకు బోధించి ఉన్నారు. జాతీయ స్థాయి లో UGC చే నిర్వహించబడిన సమావేశాలలో ఫ్రెంచ్ జర్మన్ బాషల పై ప్రసంగించి యున్నారు. హైదరాబాదు లో హైటెక్ సిటీ వద్ద ఎందేవర్ టెక్నాలజీస్ అనే బహుళ జాతి  సంస్థ లో ఫ్రెంచ్ అనువాదాలుగా పని చేశారు. ఫ్రెంచ్ , జర్మన్, స్పానిష్ ఇటాలియన్ మరియు ఇంగ్లిష్  నేర్చుకొనేవారికి అనేక పుస్త్తములను వ్రాసి ఉన్నారు. ఈ పుస్తకములు ఆంద్రదేశమంతటా పెద్ద పుస్తకముల షాపులలో లభించును.

The novel Our School is an academic novel.  It is quite fascinating.  Narration is mesmerizing.  The author displayed encyclopedic knowledge. It motivates the reader to do something out of the box, like the characters in the novel.  Students can improve their vocabulary.  The author made proper use of contemporary situation of the locality.   I think, he identified himself in the character of Durga.  The author is nowhere compromised in portraying Meena’s romantic, heinous and titiallting (suggestive) angles in the novel to bring out the originality in the plot to the readers.

“The School” is a passionate attempt to depict a village school. The writer Venkat Poolabala is a multi linguist, researcher, and writer. Needless to say, the writer has repertoire of linguistic knowledge and the imagery he employed in this novel is strikingly rich. The singularity of purpose and commitment to the cause of languages are evident in his work. The novel takes the reader to an enchanting world of different cultures. It is amazing to see the vast exposure of the writer to many languages. I hope that the novel would be instrumental in motivating the readers.
