encomiums to our mother
కడుపులో బంగారు కనుచూపులో కరుణ,
resourceful and compassionate
చిరునవ్వులో సిరులు దొరలించు మాతల్లి. 
blesses children with treasure of smile
గలగలా గోదారి కదలిపోతుంటేను 
 in the meandering course of Godavari
బిరాబిరా క్రిష్ణమ్మ పరుగులిడుతుంటేను
 in the dashing sprint of Krishna
బంగారు పంటలే పండుతాయీ
 the lands yield golden harvest
మురిపాల ముత్యాలు దొరులుతాయి.
 and the lasting prosperity thrives
అమరావతి నగర అపురూప శిల్పాలు 
the amazing sclupture of Amaravathi
త్యాగయ్య గొంతులో తారాడు నాదాలు 
 the melodious strain of tyagayya
తిక్కయ్య కలములొ తియ్యందనాలు. 
the honeyed charm of tikkanna
నిత్యమై నిఖిలమై నిలచి వుండేదాకా 
so long as they last
రుద్రమ్మ భుజశక్తి మల్లమ్మ పతిభక్తి 
The strength of Rudramma
and devotion of Mallamma

తిమ్మరసు ధీయుక్తి, కృష్ణరాయల కీర్తి
The jurisprudence of Timmarus,
the grandeur of Krishnaraya

మా చెవులు రింగుమని మారుమ్రోగేదాక
Until our ears hear the echos of
నీపాటలే పాడుతాం, నీ ఆటలే ఆడుతాం
we sing the praises of you
జై తెలుగు తల్లి, జై తెలుగు తల్లి.
victory!! victory!! victory to the mother.
