Indian Sonneteer is a collection of 200 sonnets written by Polyglot Poolabala on diverse themes with rich imagery, that reflects the Indian emotions. Following the rules of English Sonnet Rhyme scheme Poolabala wrote 200 sonnets on themes such as Desire, Death, Dreams, Love, Lust, Philosophy . They are mines of poetry admired by connoisseurs. The 200 poems are divided into 20 sections according to their themes, with 10 poems in each section.
His themes inculde mysteries behind the forts such as Kumbhalgarh Fort, Vizianagaram Fort, Red Fort Temple such as Konark and Bruhadeeswara. Poolabala unearths many historical battles and facts behind the construction of forts buried in the history- Kalinga battle, the Battle of Padmanabham.
