Mr. Vaddikasulu - the man with matchless devotion

Mr. Vaddikasulu who is a student of matchless devotion. He has learnt German earlier and can speak fluently.  Look at the tattoo on his hand. A German tattoo on a Telugu boy's hand?!  The tattoo reads " Ich bin genug". What does it mean?  It is means "I am enough."  There is a moving story behind this tattoo of course.

Nevertheless German tattoo underscores his love of German language. It also shows that learning is the sole agenda of his life in sharp contrast with men of modern generation who are after luxuries. He works in a bank but has abnegated all comforts for the sake of learning. He lives in a hostel, goes to places on foot. ( although he can buy a car and house). My Japanese language advanced in his company. Although I was able to speak Japanese, the Japanese script remained inaccessible to me until two weeks ago. Today I am able to listen to Japanese and answer the questions written in Japanese script. It is ideal to write a blog about vaddikasulu and by all means it is worth reading.

Happy Diwali

Visiting village schools - Social Work - Poolabala

3 OCTOBER VANUKURU

LANGUAGE SKILLS FOR VANUKURU Z.P SCHOOL CHILDREN BY POOLABALA
The first French novelist from India, director of Eazy foreign languages Vijayawada and polyglot who speaks French, German, Spanish, Italian, English and Japanese.

Good literature has influence on the country,  society and individual as well. a decade ago  students were limited by text books. Today students are limited by exams. They read just for exams  and just before exams. We hardly find a student or teacher who read an article a book.  In countries where people read extensively where good literature is honored , there we find the society thriving in peace and security. Good literature is far more important than good technology because good literature can give us good behavior.

On 3rd October what began as an awareness program on Foreign Languages for the young children ended as a highly inspiring unforgettable rare edutainment program.

Showing Videos of Children speaking in French, English and other foreign languages to the students of Z. P. H. School Vanukuru near Vijayawada, Andhrapradesh.

My Italian friend Maria Esposito once wrote "the future of a country is seen in the schools" I believe  her words to be absolute truth. I hope you too would believe in her words. Then this post is worth reading. this post is about how I put that belief into practice. It is a year ago early when I moved to vanukuru I met the Head Master of the Z. P. H.School Vanukuru Mr. Prasad and asked him for an opportunity to educate the children of his school on Language skills. His response was fairly good but what avail? I have n't received any response even after many months.  In the month of May I wrote in my FB which shows both my commitment and disappointment.

On 8th May I have posted

On 2nd October

It was Gandhi Jayanthi , I again thought of the Z.P school and the Children. I called the Head Master of the School. He did not answer the call.

On 3rd October

I called him again. This time fortunately he answered my call. I reminded him of my visit and explained him the purpose. He consented and gave me one hour time between 12.00 pm and 1.00 pm.

                                                Poolabala with the Head master

I have gifted my Cartoon vocabulary books to the school library and Children who actively participated in the program. I can surely that the village children are a lot better than the children in corporate school children. The village school children deserve better knowledge. They must be educated and helped. This is my mission. You too can invite me to serve your school.

Finally it is the Children you and I are interested in.

Merci beaucoup

Nagula Uppalapadu - Social Work - Poolabala

22nd September 2018:   It is my passion and mission.

Foreign Languages Festival in Akridge School in Naguluppapadu (near Ongole)

Certainly Akridge School near Ongle is an Ideal school that caters to the future needs of the students. I am quite appreciative of the acumen of the Correspondent of the School Mr. Balakrishna who has given the students this rare opportunity of listening to many foreign languages.

I thank the man behind the eventful program Mr. Muppalaneni Subbarao from America who has taken keen interest in foreign languages. It is apt to call him VISIONARY. I enjoyed the warmth of the staff members and the Principal of the school Mrs.Vanaja.

The DUX can help in CRUX

Travel always brings new things and sometimes it bestows new friends. Mr. Siraj a highly qualified and highly placed person became a good friend during the journey. I cannot simply thank him for he has spent the whole day for the children. I am sure with such people can help both young students and professional like me. He acted as a bridge between a resource person like me and another corporate school near Ongole. Finally he has plenty of awareness and a little passion for foreign languages. He has the gift of gab and exposure to marketing strategies.

Potti Sriramulu College Visit - Poolabala

I was Invited to Sri Pottiriramulu Engineering college on 5th September for a lecture on " Careers with Foreign languages" It happened to be Teachers' day but it was a different kind of teacher's day that put me on cloud nine.

Dr.Vasu the HOD of Mechanical Engineering Department asked me to deliver a lecture on Foreign Languages. The college is keen to provide its students German language keeping in view the opportunities in Germany for Mechanical Engineering students.

Fortunately I visited PSR Engineering college On 5th September 2018.

When I entered the auditorium a few minutes before the commencement of my program on "foreign languages" to check the LCD projector and audio system in advance I found a few students playing on the dais. they were taking their selfies with Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna on the background. I asked one of the students if they know anything about the personality (Radhakrishna) in the banner. To my astonishment they don;t know who he was. Most of the students don't know his name also.

Instead of starting the lecture with the advantages of foreign languages I started the program by offering prayer to Teachers. I invited a student to sing " GURU BRAHMA" When nobody came forward I was about to sing "GURU BRAHMA" Fortunately a girl came up to the dais and rendered it. Her rendition was so splendid mellifluous that it gave a blast in the beginning.

Later  I paid homage to Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishna  Bharatna, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan the great scholar and philosopher who laid down the highest standards of human conduct.  He is globally renowned for his knowledge of Vedas and Upanishads.  He was a professor of philosophy at Mysore University and Calcatta University. He held the position fo the Vice chancellor at Banaras University and Andhra University.  He lectured at Harvard University and worked at Oxford University. He was awarded Bharatna by Indian government. I was fortunate to speak about a Scholar President in an Engineering college.

The students as well as professors who attended the lecture are delighted by the scope and advantages of German, French , Spanish, Italian and Japanese Languages. Many people remember the name poolabala  when they want to learn German or French in Vijayawada.    Eazy Foreign Languages in Vijayawada  is a non commercial organization.

Learning Italian - Easy or Difficult?

It is not hard to answer  but very hard for a ignorant man to understand. The answer is "it is subjective" In other words it depends on the learner. If the learner knows the basics of English then the learner can follow. Italian or French or German or any other foreign language needs basics of English Grammar for identification of foreign language.

The word THAT has many meanings in English. It is used in different contexts  but in Italian or French or German there are different words for THAT

1.That is a computer.  dem.pronoun . (quello è un computer)
2. what is that? Interrogative  pronoun  (Cos'è quello?)
3. That computer is his.  demonstrative ( quel computer è suo)
4. He told me that he was busy.  conjunction.  (Mi ha detto che era impegnato)
5. I am not that sick.  adverb ( non sono così malato)

అలాగే MY అంటే  il mio, la mia, i miei ,  le mie   కావచ్చు.

అలాగే THE అంటే  il, i , la , le lo gli

al ragazzo - to the boy
alla ragazza - to the girl.
agli uomini - to the men
alle donne - the the women

Simply one word THAT  is used in different occasions but in foreign languages they use different words. For each THAT they have a different word.

English is useful to identification not for understanding. Subject pronoun and object pronoun, reflexive pronoun are very important without knowing them clearly it is difficult to learn any foreign language.

Ich gab dir. Ich liebe dich.

APART FROM THIS

Rreflexive verbs , Transitive verbs and Intransitive verbs are used differently.

ఈ పుస్తకం నాకు నచ్చింది - I like this book.
I like this book. He likes this book.
I - like  ; He - ?    I  - He   గా మారి నప్పుడు Like - Likes  గా మారింది

ఇటాలియన్ లో కానీ , జర్మన్ లో కానీ " I like this book"  ని అదే విధం గా చెప్పరు

IF LEARNING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IS A JOURNEY OF 100 MILES TEACHING IS ONLY 10 MILES. THE REST OF 990 MILES IS TRAINING.
