     Appaji - a great Prodigy

The king of Kalinga had his message sent

for cabbages and carrots to be lent

There grows no legume of that sort

so he sent a message to Vizianagaram fort

 

when it was read out in the royal court

Appaji deliberately accepted to transport

That decision left the king puzzled

even the wise courtiers were dazed

 

 Because the journey is so long

but Appaji commissioned carts strong

They might think that he was crazy

but he is a real prodigy he's a strategy

 

The carriages are with soil filled

when seeds sown all were thrilled 

For the king it was a very little invest

when they reached ready was the harvest
