There was an Exhibition of English work by the students. I visited the desks where children displayed assiduously designed charts. When I asked them questions , with ebullient faces they responded to me. They displayed their work and their work displayed their gung ho. Kudos to their alacrity.
After the English exhibition we reached school auditorium. It was a long rectangular hall. About 350 children gathered at the auditorium. The event began at 12.30. The founder and chairman of the school Mr. Nageswararao addressed the gathering. He explained the importance of students attitude and parents involvement in education. Then Mr. Ravi Ramesh a physics lecturer advised the children to draw inspiration from Rabindranath Tagore' s poem where the mind is without fear. He gave a Telugu sentence కేసరి కేసరి కేసరి and asked the the to explain what it actually means. Nobody was able to explain that. He finally resolved it కేసరి కేసరికే సరి which means A Lion is is equal to another Lion. He demonstrated some physics experiment and told children that it was presented by a village lad to a great scientist . The children was impressed.
Then came my turn but it was 1.30 when I began. The children were hungry. I began speaking in Sanskrit. The children's faces lighted up. Then I spoke and sang in Spanish.. Damas Y Cabearos and danced in all languages in an unprecedented fashion. In Italian , Japanese French and German. With dialogues and dramatization I entertained the children.
