Why a good book is greater than a film?

 Let us take a look at the films first then go to books 

Films all over the world promote entertainment but films in Andhrapradesh promote wastrels of rich families as heroes and destroy the beauty of art and showcase vulgarity as beauty.

                            

Nepotism and hedonism is the order in the film industry. The same hero from the same family acts in hundreds of films. Criminal minds blackmailers  copy cats and perverts shine as directors sick minds who can neither  read nor reason quickly accept these buggers for their glamour and caste. Such is the environment in the film industry that hardly any characters or characterization is possible. Leave alone morals even the story is relegated to the background. All characters including the story surrender to the ugly but rich scamp.  Care a jat!

What a pity! Films make idiots without any talent celebrities thus turn the people into fools.  These heroes when they get old creep into politics . while they sit on important positions like piece of shit their keeps  and concubines press on the veins and arteries of the society. Their dastardly acts are glamorized by the  castiest  fans and paid journalists. 

Now let us take a look at the books. 

Books mainly promote knowledge rather than entertainment. They have no heroes but subjects. The same hero will never happen again and again in books as in films. Good story and ideal characters are possible because the writers of books are individuals with self respect who work for self satisfaction and recognition unlike the cine writers. Good books and great epics have values as the foundation and humanity and generosity as themes. 

People find it interesting to understand the differences between films and epics. I now take my epic. Every novel is not an epic.  "Bharatvarsha" a good  example of an epic which throws further light on this discussion and bring clarity on what a good book can offer.  

కావ్యం సినిమాకంటే ఎందుకు గొప్పది ?

మొట్ట మొదట మనం భాషను తీసుకుందాం. ఈ రోజుల్లో  సినిమా భాష  నీచముగా నుండడమే కాకుండా  వాల్లు,  పెల్లి,  వంటి చెడ్డ ఉచ్చారణతో  భాషను స్థాయిని దిగజారుస్తున్నాది. మన భాష స్థాయి పడిపోతే మన స్థాయి పడిపోయినట్టే . కావ్య భాష  ఛందోబద్ధ పద్య , గద్య శోభితంగా రసరమ్యముగా ఉంటుంది.

సినిమా ఇతివృత్తం హీరో కాళ్ళ చుట్టూ హీరోయిన్ గుడ్డ (clothes) చుట్టూ, బొడ్డు చుట్టూ తిరుగుతూ ఉంటుంది. కావ్యం ఇతివృత్తం ఉదారంగా ఉన్నతంగా ఉంటుంది. మానవీయ గుణాలను ఔన్నత్యాన్ని చూబించే పాత్రల రూప కల్పన ఉంటుంది కానీ సినిమాల్లోలాగ ధనబలం, పొగరులను కావ్యం ఔన్నత్యంగా చూపదు. 

ఇంకా హాస్యం విషయానికొస్తే , కావ్యంలో వెకిలి హాస్యం ఉండదు , పెడసరం మాటలు అసలు ఉండవు. వెకిలి మాటలు పెడసరం మాటలే మానవ ప్రవర్తన చెడిపోవటానికి కారణాలు. అందుకనే జీవితం లో ఒక్క కావ్యం చదివిన అనుభవం ఉండాలి. ఇలాంటి వ్యాసం ఒక్కటైనా చదవాలి. 

 నా మార్గం చాలా సంక్లిష్టమైనది . 1000 పేజీల కావ్యం వ్రాయడానికి నిర్ణయించుకుని దాదాపు సగం పూర్తి చేసాను. అనేక మంది మిత్రులు ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఇంత ప్రయాణంలో నాతో రాగలిగేవారు కేవలం ఒకే ఒక్కరున్నారు.  ఈ కావ్యం లో ఒక్క పేజీ చదవడానికి శక్తి, ఏకాగ్రత  లేనివాళ్ళని చాలామందిని చూస్తుంటాను. అందుకే ఈ కావ్యం రచన వెనుక ఉన్న శ్రమను కొంచెం వివరించా దలచుకున్నాను.

I would like to explain here the efforts behind  writing the 100 page Epic.

1 పేజీ రచనకి కనీసం 10 పేజీలు చదవాల్సినదే. ఒక చిన్న పదం వెనుక ఎంత  పెద్ద కథ ఉంటుందో తెలుసా ? ఉదాహరణకి  1. పెరి కార్డియల్ ఎఫ్యూజన్ 2.  డ్రెయినింగ్ 3. హైపర్ విస్కాసిటీ  4. న్యూట్రో పెనిక్ ఫీవర్ ఈ నాలుగు పదాలు తెలుసుకోడానికి 20 పేజీలు చదివేను. 1000 పేజీలు వ్రాయాలంటే ఎన్నిపేజీలు చదవాలో ఒక నోటిలెక్కన తెలుసుకోవచ్చు. 1000 X 10. 10,000 పేజీలు 

I must read at least 10 pages in order to write 1 page. On an average i must read 10,000 pages minimum to complete this 1000 page novel.

9. అంబులెన్సు లో రోగులను తరలించు విధానం. అంబులెన్స్  వైద్యులు వారి విధులు 

10. ఎయిర్  అంబులెన్స్ ఖర్చు సేవలు అందించు సంస్థలు 11.  టర్మాక్ ఏక్సస్. యువర్ అంబులెన్స్  కెన్  గో డైరెక్ట్ టు ద ఎయిర్ అంబులెన్సు. 

12. కేథలిక్ , ఈస్ట్రన్ ఆర్థోడాక్స్  చర్చ్ ఆత్మను నమ్ముతాయా ?

13. ప్రపంచ మతాల లో కర్మకాండల పద్ధతులు వాటి వెనుక అర్థాలు, నమ్మకాలు  

14. ఆత్మ ప్రయాణం - గరుడపురాణం  

100 పాత్రలు గుర్తు పెట్టుకుని  కథా గమనము సమయపాలన తో  గ్రాంధిక తెలుగు భాషలో వృత్తపద్యాలతో వ్రాస్తున్నాను. 

సమయపాలన  అంటే కథలో సమయ పాలన.   ఎయిర్ అంబులెన్స్ ( విమానం ) విజయవాడ ఎయిర్పోర్ట్  చేరడానికి  పట్టే సమయం 1 గంట. పేషంట్  అంబులెన్స్  చేరాడని పట్టేసమయం 30 నిమిషాలు అంటే స్లో గా వెళ్ళాలి. ఇదే అంబులెన్స్ లో పాత్రలు చేత  కథలు చెప్పించడానికి  వీలు కలిపిస్తుంది. ఇది కథలో సమయ పాలనంటే. 

ఒక తరళ పద్యము వ్రాసే శక్తితో రెండు కందపద్యాలు వ్రాయవచ్చు. రెండు కందపద్యాలు వ్రాసే శక్తితో నాలుగు శార్దూల పద్యాలు లేదా ఆరు ఉత్పలమాలలు , లేదా పది ఆటవెలది లు వ్రాయవచ్చు. తరళ  పద్యము  అత్యంత కఠినమైనది. ఈ భారతవర్ష 39 వ భాగం లో  ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధతో (మునుపెన్నడూ పద్యములకు టీకా తాత్పర్యము వ్రాయలేదు)  తరళ  పద్యము వ్రాసాను.

Efforts to write poems is explained in the above paragraph. Each poem is like writing ten essays. Besides the language used is grand old style. It is not ordinary spoken language.
