BHARATAVARSHA Beats the Previous Records
Today I was with journalist 24/7 Television @ Vijayawada. President Andhra Arts Academy, a man of letters , lover of literature interviewed me on my Novel Bharatavarsha. The talk was tough before the show began. The interviewer red the novel written by Sri Vishwanatha Satyanarayana so he had a good idea about the novel Veyipadagalu. He interviewed me for half an hour with the view that Veyipadagalu was the biggest and the greatest.
We discussed the language work themes of both the novels, characters and characterization. The greatness of Bharatava was unfolded as the interview progressed. Initially I was shy to compare the language work of both the novels. But after a ten minutes I decided that there is no using beating around the bush. I started drawing parallels between my Novel Bharatavarsha with hither to considered biggest novel of Andhrapradesh Veyipadagalu.
1. First of all the length of Bharatavarsha is 1200 pages. Veyi padagalu is 999.
2. Bharatavarsha is full of metered verses . Veyi padagalu has no verses.
( Dealing with poetry ( metered verses) is more complex then dealing with prose)
3. in Bharatavarsha even the prose has greater style of and beauty then that ofVeyipadagalu.
( if you have Veyi Padagalu you can compare it with Bharatavarsha available in my blog)
4. The story depth of both Novels can be compared.
Bharatavarsha presents the in depth knowledge of various fields of science and technology history, Film Industry, Film Music composing, Acqua Industry, Share market, Company Politics. Car smuggling, Particularly Bharatavarsha is the story of great scholars of dealing with different kinds and levels of poetry. It was quite unexpected for them . It may be a surprise to you also.
But it is true Bharatavarsha was accepted as the unchangeable work for generations.
Finally they have given the following title to the program
"విశ్వనాథ వారి వేయిపడగలను మరిపిస్తున్న పూలబాలవారి భారతవర్ష
