సొంత వదిననే పెళ్లాడిన రాజు కథ

పెళ్లి రాజకీయం , చావు పండగ , దేవుడు దిష్టి బొమ్మ,  ఇదీ ఈ రాజు యవ్వారం నమ్మలేక పోతున్నారా   ఇది కథ కాదు  జరిగిన చరిత్ర చదవితే మీకే తెలుస్తుంది 

ఇది క్వీన్ ఎలిజబెత్ తండ్రి 8వ హెన్రీ కథ. క్వీన్ ఎలిజబెత్  మంచిదేమోగానీ 8వ హెన్రీ  మాత్రం పరమ దుర్మార్గుడు. ఆరు పెళ్లిళ్లు చేసుకున్నాడు. ఆరు పెళ్ళిళ్ళు చేసుకున్నందుకు దుర్మార్గుడు అనడంలేదు చాలా తేడా మనిషి. అంత  తేడా మనిషి ఎలా అయ్యాడంటే అతని తండ్రి అంతకంటే తేడా మనిషి. ఎనిమిదవ హెన్రీ తండ్రి 7వ హెన్రీ. 

7వ హెన్రీకి ఇద్దరు కొడుకులు పెద్ద కొడుకు ఆర్థర్, చిన్న కొడుకు 8వ హెన్రీ  

పెద్దకొడుకు ఆర్థర్ కి స్పానిష్ యువరాణి   కేథరీన్ ఆరగాన్తో  పెళ్లి చేసాడు పెళ్లైన 5 నెలలకే ఆర్థర్  చనిపోయాడు. పెద్దకొడుకు చనిపోగానే విధవరాలయిన కోడలు కేథరీన్ ఆరగాన్ ని  చేసుకుంటాన ని మామగారు 7వ హెన్రి  తెగబడిపోవడం, ఆమె తల్లి తండ్రులు ఇసాబెల్ ఫెర్డినాండ్ ఒప్పుకోక పోయేసరికి  తూచ్ నేను చేసుకోను  నా రెండవ కొడుకు   అయిన  8 వ హెన్రి కి చేసుకుంటానని మాటమార్చడం   8 వ హెన్రి కి వయసు (అప్పటికి ఇంకా పదేళ్లే) చాలకపోవడంతో  మరొక ఐదు ఏళ్ళు ఆగాలని నిర్ణయించుకోడం తీరా  8 వ హెన్రి కి 15 ఏళ్ళు వచ్చాక   కేథరీన్ తల్లి ఇసాబెల్  చనిపోయినందున  ఆమెకు  ఆస్తి రాదని భావించి  కేథరీన్ ను నేనుచేసుకోనని 8 వ హెన్రి ప్రకటించడం  ఫెర్డినాండ్ తన కూతురికి పదవి ఆస్తి కట్టబెట్టగానే  8 వ హెన్రి తన వదిన కేథరీన్ ఆరగాన్ ని కట్టేసుకోడం  ఇలా జరిగింది 8 వ హెన్రి  పెళ్లి.    ఏంట్రా  ఇంత  గజిబిజి  పెళ్లి అనుకుంటున్నారా?   కానీ ఇది మొదటిపెళ్లి  మాత్రమే ఈయన ఇంకా అయిదు పెళ్లిళ్లు చేసుకు న్నాడు. మొత్తం 6 పెళ్లిళ్లు చేసుకున్న 8 హెన్రి చరిత్ర తెలుసుకుంటే  ఇంగ్లాండ్ చరిత్ర , అప్పటి పెళ్లిళ్ల చరిత్ర తెలుసుకున్నట్టే...

మొదటి వివాహం  దారుణం   రెండవ వివాహం రణమే .  ప్రాసకోసం అనడం లేదు నిజంగా 8 వ హేన్రీ యుద్ధమే చేసాడు. 

హెన్రీ VIII తన రెండవ వివాహం కోసం చర్చికి వ్యతిరేకంగా తిరుగుబాటు చేసాడు.

ఆమెను మోహింపజేయడానికి తీవ్రంగా ప్రయత్నిస్తూనేకేథరీన్‌తో తన వివాహాన్ని రద్దు చేసుకోవడంపై దృష్టి పెట్టాడు,  పోప్ క్లెమెంట్ VII హెన్రీ వివాహాన్ని రద్దు చేయడంలో చాలా జాప్యం చేస్తున్నాడు క్లెమెంట్ వివాహాన్ని రద్దు చేయడని స్పష్టంగా తెలియగానే, హెన్రీ ఇంగ్లండ్‌లోని రోమన్  కాథలిక్ చర్చి యొక్క అధికారాన్ని విచ్ఛిన్నం చేశాడు. మఠాలు మరియు నన్నరీలను  మూసివేసాడు. ఈ వివాహం  కొరకు చర్చ్ ఆఫ్ ఇంగ్లాండ్  స్థాపించాడు    చర్చ్ ఆఫ్ ఇంగ్లాండ్‌పై సర్వాధికారాలు రాజువే అని పార్లమెంట్ లో చట్టం చేసాడు.  చర్చ్ ఆఫ్ ఇంగ్లాండ్‌పై నియంత్రణ సాధించాడు. ఆన్బోలియాన్ ను  పెంబ్రోక్ యొక్క మార్క్వెస్‌గా చేసి ఆమెను వివాహం చేసుకున్నాడు.

రెండవ భార్య ఆన్బోలియాన్ శిరచ్చేదం 

ఇంత  కిందా మీదా  పడి కేథరీన్ ను పెళ్ళాడి ఆమె  ఆడపిల్లలను కన్నదని మగ   బిడ్డలనివ్వ లేద ని విడాకులిచ్చి.  ఆన్బోలియాన్ బలవంతంగా ఒప్పించి మరీ పెళ్లాడాడు. ఆమె కూడా ఆడబిడ్డకే  జన్మ నిచ్చింది ఆ ఆడ బిడ్డే  ఎలిజబెత్. ఆపై  ఎంత  ప్రయత్నించినా ఆమెకు గర్భం నిలవలేదు ఆమెకు మగపిల్లలు కలగలేదు. మగపిల్లలు కలగకపోతే ఆయనకు చిర్రెత్తుకొ చ్చేసింది . ఆమె మీద దేశద్రోహం నేరం మోపి పట్టపగలే తల తీయించేశాడు.  

మూడవ భార్య: జేన్ సేమౌర్: 

 శిరచ్ఛేదం చేసిన తర్వాత అతను జేన్‌నుసేమౌర్ ను  వివాహం చేసుకున్నాడు. జేన్ సేమౌర్ ఒక మగ శిశువును ప్రసవించింది, కానీ ప్రసవించిన వెంటనే  జేన్‌  మరణించింది.

నాల్గవ భార్య : హెన్రీ VIII అన్నే ఆఫ్ క్లీవ్స్‌ని వివాహం చేసుకున్నాడు కానీ అతను ఆమెకు విడాకులు ఇచ్చాడు. వారికి వివాహం ఐయ్యింది గానీ దాంపత్యం కుదరలేదు. ఆమె రాజు సోదరి అని చెప్పుకుంటూ కోటలో    

 ఒక భవంతిలో  బ్రతికింది.   అదృష్టవశాత్తూ అతను ఆమెను చంపలేదు.

ఐదవ భార్య : హెన్రీ VIII హెన్రీ హోవార్డ్‌ను వివాహం చేసుకున్నాడు. కానీ ఆమె కూడా వారసుడిని  ఇవ్వడంలో లో విఫలమవడంతో ఆమెకు  శిరచ్ఛేదం జరిగింది.

ఆరవ భార్య : మరణానికి కొన్ని నెలల ముందు హెన్రీ VIII కేథరీన్ పర్‌ని వివాహం చేసుకున్నాడు. పెళ్లయిన తర్వాత ఒక సంవత్సరం కూడా జీవించలేదు. అతని మరణానంతరం కేథరీన్ పార్ ఇంగ్లండ్ రాణి అయింది.

This is the story of Elizabeth and her husband the Monarch of England Henry VIII.

Henry VIII parents

Henry VII of England and Elizabeth York got two sons Arthur and Henry VIII. 

Henry divorced two of his wives (Catherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleves), he had two of his wives executed (Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard) and one of his wives (Jane Seymour) died shortly after childbirth. His last wife (Catherine Parr) outlived him.

 Henry VII  chose Spanish pincess Catherine Aragon  the daughter of  Spanish king Ferdinando  and Isabella .   Henry VII ( the father) preferred   Catherine Aragon to his son  Arthur the Prince of Wales, because England was neither rich nor strong at that time. Most alliances  among kings were taking places for political and economic reasons.  Henry VII took huge dowry for his son Arthur.  Arthur was married to isabella.  They married in 1501, but Arthur died five months later in 1502.   But Arthur died months after his marriage leaving Catherine behind. 

Father in law wanted to marry his daughter inlaw. 

Henry VII wanted to marry his son’s widow Catherine but her parents refused. in inevitable conditions Henry VII then proposed to marry Catherine to his younger son Henry VIII.  But Henry VIII was 10 years old while Catherine was 16. Ferdinand's  refusal to pay the full dowry prevented the marriage from taking place until her fiancé assumed the throne as Henry VIII in 1509. The pope also permitted the marriage after Henry VIII attained 15 years. 

Henry VIII refuses to marry 

On his 15th Birthday Henry VIII declared that he would not marry Catherine. (Her mother Isabel died. Henry was not sure about her regency) Catherine lived miserably for two years.  But later Ferdinand gave her a prominent role and made her Ambassador.  Then Henry VIII married her but his marriages did not stop with Catherine. In fact Henry  VIII has six marriages. 

Henry VIII first married Catherine Aragon who is his brother’s wife.  

Catherine gave birth to six children, including two sons, but all except Mary (later queen of England, 1553–58)  died in early infancy.  Henry’s desire for a legitimate male heir prompted him in 1527 to appeal to Rome for an annulment on the grounds that the marriage had violated the biblical prohibition against a union between a man and his brother’s widow.  Catherine appealed to Pope Clement VII, contending that her marriage to Henry was valid because the previous marriage to Arthur had never been consummated. For seven years the pope avoided issuing the annulment.  Finally Henry separated from Catherine in July 1531. On May 23, 1533—five months after he married Anne Boleyn—he had his own archbishop  annul the marriage to Catherine. Parliament passed the Act of Supremacy repudiating all papal jurisdiction in England and making the king head of the English church.

 

Anneboleyn was educated in France, she  was maid of honour to Queen Claude of France. Anne was to marry her Irish cousin James Butler, 9th Earl of Ormond; the marriage plans were broken off, and instead she secured a post at court as maid of honour to Henry VIII's wife, Catherine of Aragon.

Henry VIII revolted  against Church for his second marriage.

Henry VIII began his pursuit of Anne. She resisted his attempts to seduce her, refusing to become his mistress, as her sister Mary had previously been. Henry soon focused his desires on annulling his marriage to Catherine so he would be free to marry Anne. but he failed to obtain an annulment of Henry's marriage from Pope Clement VII . When it became clear that Clement would not annul the marriage, Henry broke the Catholic Church's power in England and closed the monasteries and the nunneries.  As a result of this marriage, the first break between the Church of England and Rome took place, and the king took control of the Church of England.  Henry made Anne the Marquess of Pembroke and married her.

How and Why Elezabeth was killed?

Anne was crowned Queen of England on 1 June 1533. On 7 September, she gave birth to the future Queen Elizabeth I. Henry was disappointed to have a daughter rather than a son but hoped a son would follow and professed to love Elizabeth. Anne subsequently had three miscarriages and by March 1536, 

Henry VIII had Anne investigated for high treason in April 1536. On 2 May, she was arrested and sent to the Tower of London, where she was tried before a jury of peers, including Henry Percy, her former betrothed, and her uncle Thomas Howard, 3rd Duke of Norfolk; she was convicted on 15 May and beheaded four days later. 

Third wife : Jane Seymour: Henry was courting Jane Seymour. In order to marry Seymour, After beheading Anne he marriage Jane.  Jane seymour delivered a boy baby but died soon after delivery. 

Fourth wife  : Henry VIII married Anne of Cleves but he divorsed her. Their marriage was not consummated. She went as king's sister. Thankfully He did not kill her. 

Fifth wife : Henry VIII married Henry Howard. but had her beheaded as she too failed to produce heir. 

Sixth wife : A few months before death Henry VIII married Catherine Parr. He hardly lived a year after the marriage . After his death Catherine parr became the queen of England.
