 It was Saturday morning. Mapuii cleaned the house and mopped the floor. May washed the clothes and prepared tea for both of them. They sat together and taking tea. It is a week since Meghana stopped going to Call center. Exactly last Saturday she said goodbye to her ex-husband and job. Mapuii remembered that clearly but she did not ask May what she wants to do. She does not want to press her to do something immediately.

 How is the tea? May asked Mapuii. “Tea is good, I apply half day leave and come early after the lunch we have to go to the inspector. Said Mapuii. Ok but  don’t eat out side. I will cook for you we can eat together. Mapuii understood that Meghana has gone into saving mode. She agreed to come home for lunch and went to bath. By the time she came out Meghana finished her bath and dressed up in salwar suit. Her face is calm. It shows her clear conscience. Her personality is good. She has strong shoulders and big thighs. Earlier she was wearing jeans drinking jolly. But now  there is a sea change in her. “You have changed a lot, the one thing that is not changed in you is your beauty” Said Mapuii and hugged her and whispered in her ear “get married soon, don’t waste your beauty.” May laughed again. Mapuii waved her hand and started to office.

 May has been trying to start some business on her own. She was going out after Mapuii had gone Devaki came in and gave her a small cloth bag. Use it in anyway you like. She said and had left as fast as she came in.  May opene the bag and saw her jewellery. This is the jewellery she wants to give her daughter inlaw. “Poor Devaki. How sweet is your heart!” thought Meghana. She put the bag. She was coming out to lock the door when her phone received a message alert. She checked it. One lakh rupees was transferred to her account.  Mapuii transferred the amount. She felt reassured being loved. Is there anything better than being loved on the earth? she shouted to her conscience. Her conscience laughed blissfully. She locked the door and stepped out.

It was Sunday. Meghana and Mapuii were ready dressed up by 9.00 am. We could not meet the inspector yesterday. so today we must meet him at any cost. Said Mapuii. Meghana prepared pan cakes and put them in a casserole. They went to Devaki with breakfast. 

I have to prepare breakfast. Why are you preparing. Devaki asked.

If you really don’t know I will tell you said Meghana and winked her eye to Mapuii.

Shyness enveloped Devaki. They ate together pan cakes with coconut chetny.

Relax don’t strain yourself. Said Mapuii. Inexplicable joy danced on her face. She smiled softly. "Each sun rise is a joy each sunset is incredible" Her eyes said. Meghana understood her feelings, happier days are ahead. Life begins after 40 said Meghana.   

Okay we are going now said Mapuii. Devaki grasped where they are going.   

Are you going to the police station? Mein bhee aavoongee said Devaki.  

Mapuii : Do you have any sense left? Now you are the bride of a reputed family.              Devaki: Idhar akeley baith ke mein kyaa karoongee?

Mapuii: Kaam nahee hein kya?  Silaavo (stitch)

Devaki: Silaayee band hogayaanaa. ( stitching was stopped)

Tho mein kya karoon? dhulavo ( what should I do?  wash)

Devaki: Saam ko kannahya aayegaa. Jaldi aana.

Ham ko delhi me bhee kaam hein. We also have work in Delhi.

Megha: Aanese kya faayidaa?  Will you marry him with me?

Devaki: No, I want Manu. Devaki uttered the truth suddenly.

Megha: Tho chal teree Manu ke paas. ( so go to your Manu)

Mapuii was driving just sat beside her May. They both laughed and laughed at the child like Devaki.The car reached police station. They got in and entered the inspector’s chamber. 

 Mapuii Good morning Inspector ji

Inspector: Yes tell me.

Mapuii: Sir we complained about Mayur

Inspector: Yes we are trying. It may take time.

Mapuii:  It is a week since we met lodged a police complaint.

Meghana: How long it will take?

The inspector looked very seriously. Mapuii hesitated to speak but May opened her lips

May: bura mat maaneyegaa inspector saab. Baat kya hein kee we are planning marriages in the next month. Suddenly the constable near by said “kaartheek bahutee subh maheena hein. Subhasya seegram” The inspector's angry looks chased him.

Look we don;t work according to your Muhurt. He was under judicial custody for sometime. He name is not Mayur his name is not Mayank. He is keyur looks like a cyber criminal. The police website was hacked soon after was released. His photo was removed from the website.

It takes time to get him. This happened three years ago.

Sir we want Mayank or Mayur, you must have seen Keyur’s face. Does he look like Mayur or Mayank?

There is a limit Miss Meghana. Daily we see the faces of many criminals. How can I remember the face I had seen years ago. Uff I will call you when I trace him you can go. Said inspector Rathod impatiently.
